The Boat Race is an annual rowing contest between crews of the University of Oxford, and the University of Cambridge. Snooker World Championships, Sheffield
The World Snooker Championship is the oldest professional competition and takes place every year at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield, “the spiritual home of snooker”. The World Snooker Championship is one of three major tournaments in the Triple Crown of snooker. It uses a knockout format with 32 players competing until only two remain for the best-of 35-frames final.
