Planning your office layout

Business

When it comes to designing your office layout there are a number of different things that you need to consider such as the number of employees that you have, their shift patterns and the work that you do. Some businesses prefer to have an open layout, whilst others will move departments into their own mini offices so that they can focus on the work that they do without being disturbed by others.

Meeting rooms are another essential part of any office space where you can take current and potential customers as well as hold department and team meetings. This space can provide a neutral place where important discussions can take place.

Breakout areas are another key place for your staff to be able to relax in and take some time away from work for a short period of time. This can be used for the lunch times and also for more informal gatherings such as celebrating birthdays and work anniversaries.
