To make sure that your garden stays intact and looking good come next Spring, it will need a little bit of love now to see it through the winter months. Garden structures can be damaged by the winter rain and snow, as well as high winds, so it is a good idea to check over all of your structures such as fencing to look for signs of damage that may need repair or rot.

Doing this now means that a repair will probably be cheaper and easier as you are getting to it before the weather makes it any worse. With items that can be stored indoors such as furniture and kids play equipment and toys do move it inside where it will be protected over the winter. Visit Rackzone a shelving Ireland based company who will be able to provide you with storage solutions for a garage so you can keep your outdoor equipment neat and tidy throughout the winter.

Keep the plants in your garden looking their best too. Some plants, such as roses will benefit from being cut back at this time of the year, and if you want to move them now is the best time to do it. Make sure that any plants which may be damaged by frost are covered up or stored in a greenhouse until Spring when there is less chance of cold frosty nights.
